3. Piecing it together

Becoming more aware of the views through windows is a good way to develop greater connection with the things outside.


In this session mindmaps are a great way to identify how much we’ve learned about old windows. Describe the view through our windows and the colours we see out there using torn off bits of coloured paper. Though challenging, young children have amazing capacity and patience for this detailed work. What are our favourite classical windows and how do we describe them from the inside? What are our favourite things about these windows from inside and outside?
